Crab & Cream Cheese Crescents

A fun new recipe inspired by one of our favorite chinese food appetizers: the crab & cream cheese wonton. A guilty pleasure to begin with, but when instead stuffed into a flaky Pillsbury crescent roll…wow! This recipe is simple, delicious, and sure to please!

Ingredients:

1 – 8oz package cream cheese, room temperature
1 – 8oz package faux crab meat, chopped roughly
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika
2 green onions, chopped
1 package Pillsbury Crescents
sweet chili sauce, for serving

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

If you haven’t already, chop your green onions…

… and give the crab meat a rough chop as well.

In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, and paprika.

Add crab meat and green onions and toss gently.

Open the crescent rolls and separate at the perforated lines. Place about one tablespoon of the crab and cream cheese mixture in the center of each crescent.

Fold the dough as directed on the packaging, being sure to cover most of the crab mixture by pinching the dough together as needed.

Place the crescent rolls at least two inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for about 6-7 minutes or until just golden brown.

Serve hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.

Enjoy!! – Chef Genny
